Matthew Reid’s appointment as Principal Consultant, combined with the hire of Daan Smit in October 2023, will enable Elgin White to meet rapidly rising demand for SimCorp front office advisory and implementation services.

Based in London, Matthew will lead the planning and implementation of complex front office transformation projects in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.  

Matthew is one of the most experienced front office experts in the investment management industry, having led the strategic direction, development, and implementation of front office Order Management Systems (OMS) over two decades. He joins Elgin White from Coremont, where he was Head of Product for Clarion OMS. Previously, he spent more than 16 years as Head of OMS Product at SimCorp, a leading global provider of integrated investment management solutions.  

His remit includes reviewing the front office operations of Elgin White’s SimCorp clients and advising on strategic and operational improvements that will boost efficiency and increase competitive advantage. His implementation work will focus on enhancing processes, systems and technology, on time and on budget.
