A native Dutchman, now living and working in New York, Daan joins Elgin White with a global remit to bring fresh analysis and best practice insights to our front office clients.
His responsibilities include conducting independent reviews of our clients’ front office operations, providing strategic advice on improvements that can be made to operations, processes, and technology, and formulating practical execution plans that will deliver high-value outcomes.
Daan joins Elgin White from SimCorp, a leading global provider of integrated investment management solutions. Most recently, following his move from Amsterdam to New York in 2019, he was Principal Pre-Sales Consultant appointed to spearhead SimCorp’s front office expansion across North America.
Prior to his move, Daan held various roles including Asset Management Implementation Consultant and Front Office Team Leader. He led the successful deployment of numerous SimCorp Dimension front office deployments and managed the knowledge center for front office implementations within SimCorp Benelux.
Daan spent his early career at Fortis Bank Nederland (pre-ABN Amro merger), and subsequently as a trader at international trading firm All Options, where he experienced first-hand the challenges faced by front office staff and their colleagues.
