Elgin White has appointed investment management industry heavyweight Jeremy Hurwitz to spearhead the firm’s operations across the USA and Canada.
One of the most experienced and recognised personalities in the North American investment management industry, Elgin White is thrilled to welcome Jeremy to the senior management team.
Having founded InvestTech Systems Consulting in 1992, Jeremy grew the business exponentially until it was acquired by Accenture in 2017. After spending two years as Asset Management Lead at Accenture post-acquisition, Jeremy became an independent consultant for three years before joining Elgin White.
According to Jeremy Hurwitz: “Many opportunities have crossed my path since Accenture acquired InvestTech in 2017, but none as innovative, exciting and full of promise as Elgin White. I am fully committed to building a stand-out team in North America, which will fill a genuine gap in the market for investment management consulting services. Elgin White has laid solid foundations and has an ethos that many of the firms I have worked with in the past will relate to. I look forward to working with you in the future.”
Erik Schutte, Managing Director at Elgin White said: “I have long admired Jeremy’s presence in the investment management sector and am delighted that he will be joining Elgin White on our mission to transform consultancy services for providers of investment management services, globally. This announcement comes hot on the heels of news of our expansion in Europe, and builds on our growing presence in Asia. We have ambitious plans for growth, but above all our aim is to work closely with investment managers globally to refine target operating models, ease technology transformation and increase profitability.
